CP5230
Level transmitter for river and rain water
Application:
Measurement, monitoring, and control of liquid level (stable or in motion), for rivers, canals, and muddy waters.
Principle:
The level measurement is performed by differential pressure measurement between the liquid surface and the position of the immersed transmitter. The pressure is converted into an electrical signal using piezoresistive technology and conditioned in a 4/20mA loop.
Mechanical characteristics:
Housing body: | Brass with PTFE (Teflon®) surface treatment |
Protective head: | Antistatic PTFE (Teflon®) |
Cable: | 2 conductors 0.22mm² + capillary under shielding, food-grade PVC sheath, outer Ø 6mm |
Measuring cell: | Piezoresistive on insulator with soft silicone diaphragm |
Diameter: | 30 mm |
Height: | 160 mm (excluding cable) |
Weight: | 370 g with 10 meters of standard cable. Additional cable on request |
Mounting: | Suspended, hanging by its cable, supplied with an attachment system (KITCAB) |
Electrical characteristics:
Measurement signal: |
4/20mA current loop, 2 wires. 4mA for 0m and 20mA for full scale |
Power supply: | Direct current, operating range from 6 to 38 volts at the transmitter terminals (consider voltage drop and connected elements). Refer to the characteristics of the supplied protection module |
Consumption: | The value of the signal in milliamperes |
