CP5340
Hydrocarbon Level transmitter
Application:
For measuring the level of heating oil, gasoline, oil, hydrocarbons... and all liquids compatible with 316L stainless steel, PA6 polyamide, and FEP cable.
Principle:
The level measurement is performed by measuring the differential pressure between the liquid surface and the position of the submerged transmitter. The pressure is converted into an electrical signal using piezoresistive technology and conditioned in a 4/20mA loop.
Mechanical characteristics:
Housing body: | 316L stainless steel, polyamide ends |
Cable: | 2 conductors + capillary under shielding, FEP (fluoroethylenepropylene) sheath |
Measuring cell: | Piezoresistive isolated by a 316L stainless steel membrane. (Important: never press on the protective membrane: risk of damage!) |
Diameter: | 22 mm |
Height: | 180 mm (excluding cable) |
Weight: | 170 g with 5 meters of cable standard. Additional cable on request |
Mounting: | Either pendulum, transmitter suspended by its cable, or placed flat at the bottom of the tank |
Electrical characteristics:
Measurement signal: |
4/20mA current loop, 2 wires. 4mA for 0m and 20mA for full scale |
Power supply: | Direct current, operating range from 6 to 38 volts at the transmitter terminals (consider voltage drop and connected elements). Refer to the specifications of the supplied protection module |
Consumption: | Signal value in milliamperes |
